LAVTA Notice for LAVTA Disadvantaged Business Enterprise Goal FFY2024-FFY2026

LAVTA has proposed an overall goal of 1.33% for Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) participation in contracting opportunities during the 2024-2026 federal fiscal years beginning October 1, 2023, pursuant to 49 CFR Part 26. This DBE goal is based on the following projects:

• ADA Paratransit operations
• Transit Center rehab (shade structure rehab, parking lot paving/restriping, security cameras and passenger amenity replacement).
• Bus Bay Makeover
• Bus Hub construction and furnishings
• Hydrogen Fueling Station construction

Documentation on the methodology of the DBE goal and the DBE plan are available for inspection for 30 days from the date of this notice, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the offices of LAVTA located at 1362 Rutan Court, Suite 100, Livermore, CA 94551. Comments regarding the goals and the plan will be accepted for 45 days from the date of this notice. Additionally, public meetings explaining LAVTA’s goal setting methodology will take place at the LAVTA offices at 1362 Rutan Court, Suite 100, Livermore, CA 94551 on April 20, 2023 at 11:00 am, April 21, 2023 at 1:00 pm, and May 2, 2023 at 3:00 pm.
