Wheels Bus Partners with Regional Transit Agencies for One-Seat Paratransit Pilot Program
Attention Riders: To make traveling easier and safer for paratransit riders, Wheels Bus, operated by the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA), is partnering with County Connection, Tri Delta Transit, and WestCAT to pilot a One-Seat Regional Ride Program. This program eliminates the need for transfers on trips that cross multiple transit service areas, providing a more seamless and convenient experience for riders.
How to Book a One-Seat Regional Ride
Call (925) 680-2134 to schedule your trip.
How Much Does It Cost?
Fares are based on the local paratransit rates of the pickup location. Each one-way trip costs the same as the paratransit fare for the agency where the trip begins.
For example, a trip starting in the LAVTA service area heading to Tri Delta’s area will be charged the LAVTA fare, while the return trip from Tri Delta back to LAVTA will be charged the Tri Delta fare.

What is a One-Seat Ride?
A One-Seat Ride means you’ll be picked up at your location and taken directly to your destination without transferring between vehicles. While it’s a direct ride, the One-Seat Ride program is still shared, so the vehicle may stop along the way to pick up or drop off other passengers.
What if My Transit Agency Doesn’t Participate?
If your trip starts or ends outside the areas served by the participating agencies, your paratransit provider will assist in booking a regular transfer trip and coordinating with other transit agencies as needed.
This pilot program simplifies regional paratransit travel and ensures safer, more efficient trips for our riders. For more information, visit www.oneseatride.org.
