Free Rides for Youth All Summer on Wheels, no verification for pass required.
Wheels is providing FREE bus service for all youth throughout the summer school break with its Summer Youth Ride Free promotion. Spend less time swiping online and more time getting together in real life. This special offer makes it easy to explore all the opportunities and adventures available throughout Dublin, Pleasanton, and Livermore. No verification or pass necessary, just say youth ride free! Parents can use this free service to get the kids safely and reliably to camps, jobs, sports, art, and nature programs. When work commutes don’t mesh with summer camp schedules, Wheels gets everyone to their destinations safely and reliably.
Youth who learn to utilize transit understand it’s benefits and become advocates, understanding that public transit supports an environmentally responsible lifestyle and a sustainable future. The Summer Youth Ride Free promotion fare free period is June 1 – August 12, 2024, leading into Try Transit, a monthlong free transit promotion at the start of the schoolyear.

Schedules Available for Download
- Rapid routes 10R and 30R: Frequency would be slightly REDUCED from every 15 minutes to every 20 minutes
- Local routes 1,3, and 8: Peak-hour* frequency would be REDUCED slightly from every 30 minutes to every 40 minutes
- Local service: In East Dublin, West Dublin and to Sunset/Granada in Livermore would be ADDED
- Alignment with BART: All routes would BE TIMED TO CONNECT with the new BART train schedule
- Weekend schedule: Rapid route 10R would be INCREASED to every 20 minutes and 30R would be INCREASED to every 40 minutes on Saturdays; all other weekend service would stay the SAME as now
