Wheels is a service of the Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) and provides public transportation for the Tri-Valley communities of Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton, California.  With easy connections to San Francisco via BART, Wheels is a convenient way to travel and an excellent way to build a cleaner, healthier and less congested community.

Our Livermore Transit Center is located at 2500 Railroad Court, Livermore, CA 94551.  The TC customer service hours are Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM - 6:45 PM, Closed on Saturdays and Sundays.

Wheels Announces Bus Service Changes, Effective August 23, 2010
The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA), operator of the Wheels bus system announces service changes effective August 23, 2010 to routes 1C, 12, and 55.

Vacancy on the Wheels Accessible Advisory Committee
The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) is seeking applications for WHEELS Accessible Advisory Committee Members and Alternates to represent the Cities of Livermore, Dublin, and Pleasanton, Alameda County, and Social/Human Services Agencies. LAVTA operates the WHEELS fixed route public transit and Dial-A-Ride services in the Cities of Dublin, Livermore and Pleasanton. 

ADVISORY: BART Construction-Related Delays at Dublin/Pleasanton Station
In 2006, the San Francisco Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) began construction of a new station on existing track way between the Castro Valley and Dublin/Pleasanton stations. This construction impacts the operation of BART trains, which are routinely being delayed in both directions due to restrictions in operating speed and requirements for single-tracking. As there are considerable variations in BART train delays, the following FAQs are intended to answer some of the questions posed by Wheels riders in regard to train-to-bus transfers at the Dublin/Pleasanton station. Livermore Bus Stop Improvements
The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA), operator of the Wheels bus system, is in the process of constructing new bus stops in preparation for its new bus rapid transit service (Rapid).  Due to new bus stop construction, many bus stops in Livermore may be closed for over one month.  Temporary stops will be placed if possible as detailed at the following link.  Closed Stops and Temporary Bus Stop List

LAVTA Stimulus-Funded Project - Federal stimulus money is being used for Facility Rehabilitation, Preventive Maintenance and ADA Paratransit Projects
The Livermore Amador Valley Transit Authority (LAVTA) has applied for $3,022,219 in funding under the 2009 American Recovery & Reinvestment Act (ARRA).  Federal guidelines require this stimulus money be spent only on capital projects and infrastructure that will make the transit system more robust and create new jobs.  More Information
